Hi, I was very nervous today 21/09/18 but Dr Jones genuinely listened to me, was very knowledgeable about the medicine, the process and very empathic. He told me not to worry, that it would be fine and it was. I would definitely ask for him again should I need any surgery in the future, a thoroughly interesting and nice man, the sort of guy that you could talk to for ages. The NHS is lucky to have people like him. Also on a side note the nurse that checked me in and the two nurses that looked after me were great! Thanks, Clifford Robinson-Hull 07855 327807

Dr Hywel Jones was the anaesthetist for my surgery under Mr Smith in July. I found Dr Jones to be very warm and friendly and he made me feel at ease when I was very anxious about the surgery. I found him very informative after the surgery in explaining everything and was pleased he was there to suggest to the nurses that toast would not be the best food for me straight after having half of my thyroid removed! I only met him on the day of my surgery but was constantly at ease. I would highly recommend him. Thank you!

On meeting Dr Jones prior to my operation I felt totally at ease. His professional and yet laid back manner in explaining the procedure took away any of my fears . I came round from the operation with no nasty side effects. After the operation he took the trouble to visit me on a couple of occasions to check my progress. An excellent anaesthetist.
